Who is Paul?
Who is Paul?
Paul Wagenblast is a designer, creative director and brand strategist who got his start in fashion and retail. He worked in the world of fashion editorials and as a trend report correspondent while building brands for retail businesses and small luxury companies. After spending time in the small business world he moved on to corporate creative work at companies like Twitter and Sephora, which taught him how to scale up his creative thinking to solve for national, omnichannel campaigns and goal-oriented, cross-departmental projects while managing a team and collaborating with marketers. Since working in beauty he has continued to creatively direct, design and consult for a variety of brands across tech, wellness, auto, skincare, education and luxury retail.
The Studio
Studio Paul is a multidisciplinary design practice focused on branding, identity and strategy. A collective of visionary collaborators, driven by world building and brand topographies, assembles to approach each new project with exactly the right ingredients. We look at a brand as an ecosystem of interconnected signals and passageways. We understand that touchpoints work like stars in the constellation of a brand; that each one has its role to play and deserves specific attention. We also recognize that branding is an expression of business, and that healthy workflows and ethical practices are essential for sustainable growth and execution. This holistic approach drives our design philosophy to bring better brands into the world.
